Crested Wood Partridge - Canon 200mm Lens Comparison
Another set of images taken with the Canon 200mm f2.0 prime, and the two 70-200mm f2.8 zoom lenses this time of a Crested Wood Partridge. Again, shots not taken under controlled conditions and identical exposure, but I think that they can be used to get a general idea of the capabilities of these three lenses.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Hi Harry, yes I agree all of these three lenses are quite good.

Not being the same income bracket as you, I bought the plain-jane 70-200 F4 (non-is) used this year and think it is one of my sharpest lenses now.
its definitely the best $500 lens I own.

Thanks Brad, the new Mark II zoom is a fantastic lens and it really does approach the IQ of the prime lens. I agree that they're pricey lenses, but I'm sure you'll do fine with your "plain-jane" lens.
