Just trying to shoot the setting sun around Griffith Observatory in LA.

1. This one isn't, but wanted to test the Tamron 28-75mm

    Wonderful colours there and great composition, having a small area to capture and remain interesting is challenging. I think you did pretty darn well and all of those shots grab my eye, I prefer these to the ultra-wide angle that o so many people do.

    They are all good (at least to my eye) but the one that really catches my attention is your #2 (Layers, the non-digital way). That's one that would be hanging on my wall. I can see it hanging in a office setting as well! Very, very nicely done!!! thumb.gif

    I agree with Scott, #2 is the best of the bunch…

    #3 is a darned close 2nd though!

    …actually looking at it again, I think the balance in #3 is better, so I'm going to choose #3 over #2… (sorry Scott! :D )

    BTW - I'm looking at it on the "Ivory Tower" b/g, and the top of #2 is almost lost; I expect it might look more balanced against a dark b/g
