I used to be able to have a link that did NOT include the title of the gallery.... just the weird chars. This was great for using as links from various websites to point back to a specific gallery.
Now with the title embedded in the URL - it's impossible to change the title or category with breaking those links.
Is there a way to create an embedded URL link that will not break if the title or category is changed ?
tnx -

Then, it doesn't matter what happens to the category, sub-category and gallery names. You could even make the link this:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/xxx/yyy/zzz/5608869_vwzCG
and it would still take you to the right place. You could also use this form of the URL:
http://jfriend.smugmug.com/gallery/5608869_vwzCG
Any of these will work. If the gallery number and key is at the end of the link, then Smugmug will ignore the category and sub-category.

and have tried variations of removing the middle gallery + title /xxx/yyy/ parts,
but then it just goes to the homepage vs the specific gallery.

I can make the URL -
http://shoebox99.smugmug.com/Other/Atlanta-trip-take-a-break/11961283_VND8E#848082018_rvzQo
into -
http://shoebox99.smugmug.com/cc/tt/11961283_VND8E#848082018_rvzQo
replacing the /cat/ and the /title/ with just placeholder words...
and it goes to the exact same place/gallery.
