I just thought to play a little with macros and PS :wink

Please tell me if this can be something to be considered for the current challenge...

Hi Tatiana,

UMO lol.

I like this as an abstract---I like the pop of bold color against the black and I have no clue as to what this is. I think I would like something in sharp focus though, but it's a cool abstract.

Hope others chime in, interesting shot.

It is certainly in focus and is not something I know.
It looks like it might be a cover for some type of air conditioner?
I like the light, the texture and shadows.

Yes, it's something like this... not a vent, but a lousy light system in a park...



I thought to replace my onion that seems to be too obvious, with something else... but I guess
this is not the best choice. Well, I don't have another image and neither a macro lens until next weekend.

It's probably not worth it to even try again.

Thank you Tammy - it was my first ever experience with a macro lens (rented for the week-end).

I tried very hard to get it as much clear and it focus as possible, using 6 images stacked together,
with the technique suggested by Tim and Joyce (thank you so much!). I also worked hard with PS
filters to get the color.

I was quite satisfied for the first time of doing this - however, it seems that I made it too recognizable

I can probably try it again next week-end (even though it will be a little too rush), to make the subject
less recognizable...

In the meantime I just thought to play with the regular lens as the time and weather allow... but I
see that it's not the same thing. I cannot go close enough to objects to get something interesting and worth it for the level of a challenge...

Oh my goodness! These are all my favorite colors in one image. : ) I love the contrast and vivid colors. I kept looking for one thing to focus on. I like how my eye is drawn into the dark purple area every time I look at the image.
