Sorting out my image library over the weekend and came across this shot (done a couple of years back) of detail on a garden spider. Natures patterns are quite amazing. Nikon D80/Tamron 90mm.

Yes the common orb spider Araneus diadematus does have interesting back patterns. Odd I keep on seeing an owl's face now
