Good morning all,
My daughter turned three and I managed to get a nice candid of her (I think anyway).
Natural light from a window was used.
The one major nit I see is perhaps I chopped too much of her head off at the top? C&C much appreciated.
and b&w because I can't help it.

Hi there Andrew:)
Thank you. Color it is.
I wish I had gotten more of her hair, it's down to her waist, but I'm still happy with it.
EDIT: Miss ya over on "street".

Hi Trudy,
The nails and the "3" on the nails did it for me too it was just too sweet from a mom's point of view anyway.
Thank you and I'm glad you like it.
I havent' gotten the nerve to work with flash or anything yet---just available light, so glad this one was well received.

I know what you mean--I already can't believe she's three!
Someday she'll be 16 and locking me out of her room:cry .
But for now I'm thoroughly enjoying her, so thank you.

What you see depends on what you're looking for.
I appreciate the comments.
She's cruising straight from the terrible twos into the tazmanian devil threes and looking angelic about it:D .

Ditto....and...
I wouldnt stress about cropping the top of her head. Were it mine, Id consider doing it in a 4:5 (8x10) ratio and take a tad more from the top of her head. You will lose the hand, but the fingers will still be there. Its a lovely shot....beautiful girl!

Thanks Jeff,
Nice to see you again
I'm still learning to crop--I usually don't crop enough.
Thanks for the advise.
