Wildflowers HDR - The Season Continues

Our beautiful wildflowers keep blooming, the bluebonnets having given way to vast fields of yellow coreopsis. After nearly a month of contractors working on my house, I finally had a day to myself last Friday so I went out for an early drive and photo shoot. The overcast morning skies made the flowers really pop.
C&C greatly appreciated!

1. 3-exp HDR - Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Gonzales County, TX
2. 3-exp HDR - Field of Coreopsis
3. Trees in Coreopsis Field - I know it's centered but I still like it
These two were from an earlier road trip about 2 weeks ago.
4. Coreopsis in historic churchyard - does the sepia work here?
4a. Or the color version?
5. 2 exposures blended in Photomatix, finished in PS

Tom, thanks for your detailed comments. I will work on the sky in #3 to see if I can bring it out. The shot was made within a few minutes of #1, so there was obviously some texture and structure in that sky. I'll try again and post a new one. Thanks.

In #4, I think the sepia works well...but how about just straight black & white?
My favorite is #1 followed by #5. I like the sepia version better than the color version in #4, maybe because of the lighting.

Here's a revision of #3--does the sky work better? I lightened the trees a bit also.
I'll try a B&W in a couple of days, when I return from a quick trip to Ft Worth. Wish I could meet up with you No. Texas DGrinners but this is a quick family visit.

No. 1 is my very favourite! You are SO lucky to have a field full of Coreopsis....I have to buy a plant, cover it for the winter, and baby it thereafter!
I like No.3 also except for the "thing" below the smaller tree. Well done!
