    In the small view you gave us, the image doesn't appear to be too clear... I think that a crop of it would help too headscratch.gif

    My first impression was that this was a bunch of chicken feet. :D I like the colors and contrast, but agree that more focus would be better.

    thank you. I agree oof but it is very hard with something this size. I will try again with the tripod tomorrow and see what I come up with. Thank you again.

    I hate those things, I cut down a tree because of them. But it would make it nicer as other have said about working on the focus. Good subject maybe a higher f stop to get more DOF. Definitely get the camera on the tripod. DO you have Live View for finer focus adjust?

    DOnt tell. I am not sure as I am still working on figureing out my camera, and only have a kit lens plus a 50 1.8. I will work on it tonight!!

    I agree with the focus issue. Perhaps make your light a bit more dramatic to enhance the depth and the texture.

    You might try to burn them and shoot the afterglow. It's phenomenal.

    I understand why folks cut down trees. Personally, I love them.

    I guess I didn't take them as minimum dimesions required, but more as an idea on how to get close up. headscratch.gif
