ETA a new #1....... (and is having too much fun with color in photoshop a problem for WTH ? )


Been away on vacation, and while I have peeked now and then at the entries, I haven't had much chance to comment...but, wow, some NICE work, folks!!!

Here are a few WTH are they? images, although truth be told, I am not using a Macro, just cropping images to within an inch of their lives....does that still count???:rofl

I was about to say it ... it's a funny great image, but I'm not sure it will work for the contest...

PS: I think it's a distorted reflection of somebody's head... (?)

Weirdo me likes #5 much better than all the rest. I would like to see the copper thingies a little sharper, though. The colors and composition are quite nice

#6 is the underside of a bottom-feeder shark or some such?

I like #5 also... maybe its the color scheme. #1 looks like too much fun in Photoshop and #3 is to recognizable to fit the WTH for me. Great images.

#1 looks like servo gears or the drive gear on a small r/c car with color added in PS.

#3 looks like polished & stained wood. The tuning end of a violin?

I don't think ya win, sorry!!!!

#1 is gears...but on a HUGE ship, not a small car!! Its a gear in the engine room of the USS North Carolina.

#3 is totally way off.... not gonna answer yet, lolsomeone will have to get warmer, ha ha

#6 is actually the bottom side of a Sawfish!!!
