in addition to "microscapes", i've been sort of concentrating on capturing close-ups of various natural things - the textures of wood and stone, in particular. i'm thinking at some point in the future of doing a themed exhibition of this sort of thing... kind of "natural abstracts"...

These are all very nice Rocky, but I especially like the first one!! I really like the smoothness of it yet the roughness also. Very cool!

My favorites are #2 and #3 -- I like the lines along with the texture.

I can't believe the 3D effects you've been able to capture with these textures, photos 1-3 in particular, and #2 being the best example. I'm in awe.

thanks, guys... sometimes when i can't find anything else to shoot, these sorts of opportunities can salvage a day...
