This may violate Harry's no rodent policy, but my daughter wanted a shot of her gerbil, so of course I went into full portrait mode.

Those little guys are pretty quick!

C&C welcomed.

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

    Nice job!

Natural model there… …note the way the model is looking directly into the camera!

…good catch-lights, and nicely focused whiskers!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Beautiful image Z. clap.gif

Of course it violates my rodent policy. Brings back memories when my brother and I had gerbils when we were youngsters. My bro's gerbil was named Roy (Roy Rogers) and mine was Gene (Gene Autry). Well it turned out that my brother's gerbil was actually Dale (Dale Evans) and they produced a few baby gerbils. I was thrilled at this wonder of birth right up to the moment that Dale and Gene made supper out of their young.

Needless to say I was emotionally scarred for the rest of my life.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I'll have to show this to my daughters. We have a Hamster, called "Cotton".

    Nice portrait!
