I shot this video to show everyone at SM what the mobile site looks like on a HTC Incredible VZW phone.

I am hoping for a native android app, but until then here is what the mobile site looks like on this beautiful and fast open phone (had to throw one zinger in)

Happy to answer any questions you have about the phone as well.

    Thanks for doing this!

Interesting, you get a single column of thumbnails in portrait orientation, and two columns in landscape orientation. On iPhones, we get 2 and 4 columns. Wonder if that's due to the resolution of the phone's screen or something else.

FWIW, to correct you a tiny bit - we first came out with /iphone site. Then, recently, we updated it so that it would intentionally work well on mobile devices like Droids and this phone you got, and we came out with the /m url so that all folks could enjoy a better mobile experience. yoursitename.smugmug.com/m should word the same as your video shows on any mobile device with a webkit-based browser. And the good news is, even blackberries are going to be webkit-based soon too!

    Thanks again for doing this.

No problem was happy to do since I know people will be looking at this phone as it goes on sale with VZW.

I think if you was able to fix the issue with displaying the large image and then having a way to get back to the current gallery instead of going all the way back to the main /m start page that the /m setup would be acceptable to most people.

How is that handled with the iphone version? Once you click on an image in a gallery and it displays the largest size of that image it can for your screen how do you go back to the gallery listing of images?

The same thing happens no matter what browser or phone you use to browse the mobile site. Clicking on a photo and getting the super large version and then back takes you all the way to your mobile home page. I have some ideas that I am working on but they take time.

I would still love to see an Android app, but I fear the programming skills needed is way above my head.
