yup, know what you mean. I bracketed for every aperture and put all those in a slide show on my computer and took about 15 minutes to decide. I think different DOF for different folks, . I felt this was in that in between stage.
A higher DOF with a better background would be really cool. But I wasn't sure of what that would be. I might try a white background and blow out the back end so to speak....see what that looks like.
Lovely idea, love the treatment. You get a real sense of depth. I really like how the black thingie dominates. I do feel that the right side of the frame is a little empty, maybe the black thingie is kinda centered?
thanks guys! Sid, you make an interesting point. There is so much to shoot on this motherboard that I definitely will not mind trying to redo this shot at all. I'll see what I can come up with. :
