Cool! That battery in the foreground must be the substation for the surrounding blocks. See the grid running out in all directions?:):
I'm glad you didn't call it "Circuit City", there may be some legal implicationsheadscratch.gif
Good job, I like it... I'm still trying to decide whether more DOF would add or detract from the composition.

yup, know what you mean. I bracketed for every aperture and put all those in a slide show on my computer and took about 15 minutes to decide. I think different DOF for different folks, Laughing.gif. I felt this was in that in between stage.

A higher DOF with a better background would be really cool. But I wasn't sure of what that would be. I might try a white background and blow out the back end so to speak....see what that looks like. ne_nau.gif

Lovely idea, love the treatment. You get a real sense of depth. I really like how the black thingie dominates. I do feel that the right side of the frame is a little empty, maybe the black thingie is kinda centered?
    Sid.

thanks guys! Sid, you make an interesting point. There is so much to shoot on this motherboard that I definitely will not mind trying to redo this shot at all. I'll see what I can come up with. :):
