I've just started messing with Nikon's Camera Control Pro...so far it's a "wow", but I'd like to hear from some other users; is "focus" an issue with anyone? My D300 doesn't seem to want to respond to the "focus and shoot" button?!

The focus and Shoot thing is just a function of the interface....which is part of the prob if you have a computer that takes a minute to think it thru.

My "W0W" is sitting on the shelf and has been since I got it. What I didn't like was the inability to reset the screen size to the Monitor size....that just makes no sense to me. It worked fine though, AF, changing settings via mouse, etc, but....it all seemed pretty lame once I had it up and running. Plus, Plus it would not work on 64 bit Vista, only the 32bit version, which was a turn off! Also, there are other programs out there free or cheaper that do the same thing, only better.

    ENjoy~

Not sure that I understand this - My version lets me display full size on the monitor. headscratch.gif

I like it but can't/haven't compared it with other software. All the functions seemingly work great.

...I'd be interested to check out alternatives, can you supply some that you've tried and have judged better?
I'm past the focus thing now, but it still seems a bit clunky...

Best advice is just to Google it...you'll find the alternatives. I didn't try any first hand, because I was so unimpressed with the whole of it~
