Sorry, but I don't know what "file number" is. If you're talking about changing the "filename", Smugmug does not have that feature. If you're talking about resetting the "date taken" on the photo, Smugmug does not have that feature.
Yes, the "file number" is the "file name" since the name is a number.
I use a date sequence file name/number (2010-04-26-001) and it's easier to set the gallery to sort
by date (newest first), but some files were uploaded using a different system.
If I can't, I can't. I'll manually move or delete and upload using the date numbering/naming system from originals.
