    For those of us not familiar, could you name the aircraft?

    Sure thing...
    the prop aircraft are Nanchang CJ-6's. Chinese made basic flight trainers.
    The Jet seen in some of the photos is a Czechoslovakian made L-39 "Albatross" used as a jet trainer or light attack aircraft.
