Productive 10 on the roof

I had a spare 10 minutes, so went out on to the roof to shoot some rainbow lorikeets and New Holland Honeyeaters in our neighbour's umbrella tree. I was also lucky enough to get a buzzing from what I think was a Brown Goshawk. It sent all the birds scrambling for cover. C&C welcome.

Without looking at what others had to say (as I always do not to be influenced) all are terrific...but 2 & 3 are freaking great! Well done, Mike.

ok... i'm not a wallpaper kind of guy, more so I dislike birds and their pictures..
but, Jesus!! That #2 is amazing. I would not hesitate putting it on my 27" screen BG.

Thanks Ric. Much appreciated. It is a while since I have managed to get some shots that are better than just good, so I was pretty pleased.

Thanks Dan! As I said above, it has been a while since I felt I had had some really good opportunities for some great shots. I am pretty pleased with this lot.

Wow! Glad I checked the second page of threads. And not to beat a dead horse, but #2 is phenomenal. I love the solitary honeyeater pic as well.

So am I! Thanks Stephen. Those honeyeaters are very photogenic little critters. I have a set of honeyeater shots coming up from last weekend.

Numbers 2 and 3 would make a great composite shot.

Rather like someone watching Rodan (the giant dinobird, not the sculptor) descending from on high.
