Where Does One Enter Promo Code?

I have a Pro Account of which I was notified of an offering of Free Shipping with a particular Promo Code. I do have this Promo Code loaded under my Control Panel / Manage Coupons. While placing an order the Coupon category appears in the Order Summary within the "Choose Shipping" checkout page, but nowhere along the process of checking out the cart is there a data field to enter a Promo Code. ( Note: I did not want to click on Confirm Order which indicates the order is being place with shipping charges) I expected the Promo Code entry to be on the "Choose Shipping" page since that is when the shipping charges appear under the Order Summary display, but there are no such data fields on this page to enter a Promo Code. Where/How does one enter a Promo Code? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

As a pro I don't know if you can enter a code on your own site. It would cost you money - SmugMug charges the cost off of your profit if a customer uses a shipping coupon like this...

First, you need to be logged out of your Pro account. You won't be able to apply your own coupons in the shopping cart. And since you're responsible for covering some of the cost of coupons you give, why would you want to?

Second, the coupon is entered on the same page where you enter the billing/payment information.

You enter the coupon code, and click Apply, and you'll see the above. The shipping charge has been deducted, and it shows the valid coupon entered.


One suggestion, the SHIPZIP is the example coupon code that we gave on our Release Notes, here:

I would recommend you come up with something different, so there's no confusion.

PS the Confirm Order button does not actually place your order, it's not the last step in the shopping cart. You can click the Confirm Order button and your order will not be placed until you click PLACE ORDER.
