I joined the dark side (Apple, not Canon biggrin.gif ) and I've decided to get an iPod Touch to show off photos. I really want something to carry with me so when we're discussing my photography, I can just take out the Touch and show off some photos. Since I've never used an iPod, I have no idea what settings are best for display, etc...

Can someone please help a guy out? biggrin.gif

Also, I hear you can only get photos to the iPod using iTunes. What do I need to do??

Thank you :)
Neal

I just do sRGB, 1024 pixels on the longest side, moderately high quality.

You have two choices to get the photos on board.
On the Mac you can go through iPhoto, but I don't want to because I use Lightroom. So then you use the option in the Photos tab where you point iTunes to any folder you want, and inside there you can have subfolders. When you sync, each subfolder turns into an album.

Lightroom 3's Publish Services is supposed to work very well with this type of syncing though I haven't tried it. Lightroom 2 works just fine if you simply make a preset with the specs and point it at the sync folder that you also pointed iTunes to.

Thank you. Oh, and I do have a PC. I want to do it via LR, it would be so much easier. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow because the Touch is still charging.
