I am a newbie with SmugMug and I love it, however, I need help!

I am working on the Nav Bar on the Easy Customizer.

I have Home / Galleries / About Me / Guest Book / Contact on my Nav Bar, for the time being.

When I go to Header > Nav Bar Builder I am having trouble setting up my GALLERIES URL.

I want my Home Page to be a slideshow.
I want my second page to be my Categories (Nature/Sports/Pets/etc...)
When my clients click on Nature I would like for it to go to a Sub-Categories page listing all my Galleries for Nature.

My Home Page URL is working. However, I can not locate the URL for what I need to do for my Categories page so that when my clients click on GALLERIES on my nav bar it will take them to all the Categories.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks!

    Hi there,

This will require a bit more customization. The categories or galleries, are part of your homepage, so you need to use a bit of trickery. First, you make a duplicate homepage with it's own URL (usually /galleries), then you use CSS to remove the galleries from your homepage, and only show the galleries on your /galleries page. After that's set up, you can then use the new URL to link to in your navigation bar.

Here's how: http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq See #37. You can skip the parts regarding the banner, navbar and slideshow.

    I hope this helps!

How do you make a duplicate homepage?

I've followed #37 directions over and over until my head is spinning. Could it be possible that this was written BEFORE the new Easy Customizer came out?
