    Great shot, fright usually takes over when I think about shooting someone who looks interesting on the train. :(

    Glad I posted it then B.D. It's amazing sometimes how much I sweat posting or not posting a shot.

    Homer--new trick I have--fist practice has made me more comfortable. Also the other day I took out my ipod and put in my earphones and it makes me less hyper sensitive to other people. I'm aware of my surroundings of course but it just seems to relax me more and I don't hear the shutter make that loud click, so I click and look away and move on. It's almost like when you are a child you hide under the covers because if you don't see the monster the monster can't see you. Anyway, it works--for me anyway:) Course if the person decides go psycho and come after me, I won't know it til they're on me--I'll worry about that bridge later.

    I have mixed feelings about this one. I have taken a few recent BART train rides and have come out with no interesting shots. Mostly, they are people sitting and standing around. Occasionally I get a mildly interesting person, but have so far deleted all of them.

    So what I do like: the composition is quite good. I like all but the main subject facing the same direction. I also like the poles. And the guy is interesting, BUT only mildly.

    (reminds me of a game played when we were kids, which involved similar pose and expression to that of the subject in your picture…)
