Panorama

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this but I figured I would start in sports. I have created 2 different images using my short lens and may 70-200 2.8 of my the local HS stadium I shoot at. I am experimenting trying to figure out what would work for the next FB season. I have an example in the afternoon of the evening with my short lens that was stitched together by PS CS4 after lots of trial and error.
I have several questions about my pictures. I cannot upload the other one with my long lens because it is in PS large document format and is approximately 1.75gb in size. I want to compress it and save it so it can be uploaded. Does anyone have experience with doing this even if it is a panorama?? Has anyone ever done this and sold them through SMUGMUG?? I want to know what pictures sizes etc work best..
Any C&C and help would be greatly appreciated..

Save as a jpg, you'll have to resize it to under 48megapixels and under 24megabytes in PS.
