I am a hobbyist photographer, started back in film, ( I know ... that dates me!) and have just started into Digital in the last year. I am looking to establish a web presence (have my own domain name, and a SmugMug account). At this point, I want to give the web presence a name that does not include my own personal name. I am located in Canada ... so my questions are:
(1) How does that work for copyright (can I still use ©SillyGuy - for example) and it apply to my work.
(2) Should I register the name of the site ... if my goal is to sell at some point in the future? Will that have any effect on my personal taxes, if I have a registered business ... but not showing any action?
Any other thoughts or perspectives that I should consider in all of this! Thanks for your input in advance!
