Shooting the elderly

I've been asked to cover a 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow, that in and of itself doesn't have me worried. I have never photographed the elderly, is there anything particular to be done? I realize I'm most likely worried over nothing but still.
There are to be five posed/formal shots and the rest their daughter wants just candids.

No, they are just like normal people... many tend to look away or not listen (and you gotta be even more respectful of them). Do your best to soften the light if you are using flash, too.

Bounce your flash. It will soften the light and be more flattering to "seasoned" faces.

Don't worry. I can fix you in photoshop.
