Hi Everyone, I got this shot in front of the house here yesterday. Iam new at this. Can you give me some ideas how i could have done better. Thank you.

    I'd print it, frame it, and hang it on the wall. Good shot, I like it.

    A pretty nice shot of a beautiful bird. You did well. A glint of light in the eye would have made the shot better, but you can't always get that. If the bird is not in a hurry then try and get the angle of the light to glint off the eye. Or use a flash to get it.

    Thank you Mike, never to old to learn. I would never have thought to use a flash bring out the eye.

    A good shot ,the only things as said are a light in the eye and it seems to have some noise in it as well.
    I have hunted for months to finally get a Blue Jay pic, not an easy task so well done. thumb.gif

    Yep, will I am still learning here too! Once you start looking for it, you'll notice the glint as you look for the shot.
