What am I doing wrong???

I hope this is the right place to post this.
I have pics in an unlisted gallery for a client to be able to download. I want them to be able to download the original file. The original (finished) file is a jpg at 24.7M, 3600x2395, 300 dpi. I dragged it into my site using the smugmug uploader.
Yet when I tried to download it from my site (by using "save image") to my desktop, it comes out at 3.12M, 1280x851, 300dpi.
Why the change? What am I doing wrong? My gallery settings are set to size - original. I've tried with a couple of other pics and get the same results.
Or is this a default setting and that's the largest size you can download?
Any help at all is greatly appreciated. I've already notified the help desk and they think it's a problem with my uploader changing the file size, but I just sent a note back saying I'm not changing anything--I'm dragging directly into the smugmug uploader.

24.7Mb is too-large, we only accept up to 24Mb.

Thanks Andy. So that extra .7 might be the problem. Here's a link to the pic.

Still, resize your photo to under 24mb then upload it. Then, the original will be exactly as you upload it.
