Sportraits
Shot my first round of athletes with my three speedlights trying to get a handle on it - long ways to go on perfecting it, but I'm loving them. I'm hoping for these to be a hot item in my area and was just looking for some feedback.
Thanks for taking the time to view. Any feedback is appreciated.

In general I think these are very good. The second, fifth, sixth, eighth, and tenth are my favorites. The sixth (B&W shot of the girl passing the basketball under her leg) is particularly cool, and beautifully timed (though maybe it could use a contrast boost and/or a raise of the black point). The tenth (basketball girl looking to the left) doesn't quite "pop" enough for my taste; again, more contrast or a tweak of the tone curve might do the trick. The others are good portraits, well-posed, with nice lighting, though in #2 the ball has an unpleasant dark stripe on it because you've got it lit from exactly opposite sides.
I don't like the flash reflection in the upper right-hand corner in the first shot.
Got bored with digital and went back to film.
Followed by the lacrosse player with the light off to the left....

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.
