Save my galleries when I switch over to the new username?

Hello everyone,

I did a search but didn't find anything.... :dunno

My Pro Smugmug account expires in one month and I would like to change my username as I'll be using a new domain name. Is there a certain procudure that will save my galleries when I switch over to the new username?

You need to do nothing - change your nickname in control panel, and all your galleries will travel along with it

This is a similar question I have. I just changed my domain from www.naturalplay.smugmug.com to www.aprilmartellphotography.com. If I change my Nickname from naturalplay to aprilmartell under my account settings, will that mean bookmarks will no longer take people to my page unless they change them?

Depends on what is bookmarked Old homepage? No. An old gallery with albumID and albumKey? Yeah.

This sounds like what I am trying to figure out how to do... I want to change my business name/domain but don't know if that requires me to pay another Pro annual fee. Can you explain what you did and how you did it so I can determine if this will work for me? Thank you very much for your time as I have been trying to figure this out for a few weeks now and stumbled upon your post.

Smugmug supports only a single domain for your smug account. You can change the domain at any time, no fee. Just change the domain per the instructions on this help page - http://www.smugmug.com/help/professional-accounts.
