Some for fun landscapes.
My wife took these yesterday at one of our favorite places, Ocean Point in East Boothbay, Maine. It was raining too hard to do any serious photography but, we thought we would drive out anyway and see what was going on - if anything.
The earth really is round.
Rainy day.
Is this what the flash/strobe guys mean when they talk about using an umbrella?

She was using an 8mm lens (Mothers' day present early). After not being able to keep the umbrella out of the shot and stay dry, she decided to make use of it. A little fill flash enabled her to balance the light as she wanted.
