To Greet the Dawn

Ordione Point State Park today at sunrise. The wall surrounds a picnic area and the building is a science center. This was a military installation in WW2, but is now acres of rocky beach, woodland & salt marsh. It's one of my favorite places.

E-30, ZD 12-60mm, CPL & ancient Bogen tripod. Not bad for no caffeine.

    thanks much. Yeah, that dawn light is hard to beat. The sunrise itself was pretty unspectacular so I turned my attention inland.

    Both looks nice! I liked the warm morning sunshine on the first one and the softer colors in the 2nd. thumb.gif

    thanks everyone. The first was taken later than the second; the sun hadn't crested the horizon for the second and obviously it had for the first. Probably should have posted them in reverse order. : )
