Loaded 130 galleries last night, woke up and found they were all unwatermarked. yet i go to gallery settings, and it has watermark enabled.

Anyone know if theres something wrong with smugmug over the weekend and the watermark "PROOF" not working?

thanks in advance. I had to put my entire website on hold til i can figure this out.

I uploaded photos last night and they all watermarked successfully.

Do your photos meet the minimum size requirement for watermarking?

From the help page at http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-watermark-protection:
Gotcha: We do not watermark photos whose longest side is equal to or less than 800 pixels because a display copy and the original are the same image.

How did you upload them? ear.gif

I applied the watermark in-gallery to this gallery:
    http://www.darrenbeattyphotography.com/WMRRA/931/12128515_NZgWt#862449023_B7efE

    And it applied instantly.

BTW, you'll want to upload sRGB files, not Adobe 98 colorspace files. More: http://www.smugmug.com/help/srgb-versus-adobe-rgb-1998

Andy, thanks for the help. Basically what ended up happening, is i found two things.

    1. you cant delete multiple galleries efficiently. Clicking on the gallery settings and doing multiple, with how slow the drop down is (if you have a rather large smugmug acct like myself) it would take ages. Almost faster to do it one at a time.

    2. You cant watermark galleries as a group, once uploaded. Another bummer, bascially what happened was I used software to upload a bunch of galleries, and they were ALL unlocked for a few hours until i figured I'd goofed and did not check off the watermark function. The hassle is, if you end up loading 100 "bad" galleries, because of your settings. Theres no easy way out, except to open all 130 galleries, and deleting them 1 at a time. Which i eventually did. Took about 45 minutes. :cry

    Hi,

This is true regarding deleting however for watermarking, you can use the 'multiple galleries' setting to watermark more than one gallery. To do this goto the gallery settings for a gallery. From there, you should see the 'multiple galleries' button near the top.

I'm having trouble removing watermarking from my photos. I've gone in and updated my Quick Settings to turn watermarking off, and then applied it to all my galleries. I've gone through all of the galleries and verified that in the gallery settings watermarking is off, and I've also gone to Tools -> More -> Watermarking and "Delete"d watermarking from all of the photos in a gallery. SmugMug says it will process it and make them go away but they're not going away (note, at the current time I only have 1 or 2 images in a gallery -- still migrating my photos over from my non-Pro acct).
