Two accounts, or go Pro?

Hello,

My smugmug site (terranova) serves as the repository for my kids’ pictures, as well as my personal stuff from travel, work, etc. My wife and I split last year, and she still has the admin password for the account so she can upload pics to the childrens’ galleries. Problem is, since she has the admin password, she can also access all of my other galleries, even those I choose not to make public.

Is my only solution to set up a new account – either for me or the kids – and transfer the appropriate pictures to it? Is transferring pictures between smugmug accounts even possible without having to upload them again?

And what if I want to change the name of my account from terranova to something else?

Many thanks,

Brad

It sounds like you will need another account that can be yours alone. Smugmug can move pictures between accounts if you are the owner of both accounts. You just contact them at the help desk once you've created the second account and tell them what you'd like to move to the second account. Neither account needs to be a pro account in order to do this.
