problem with galleries and slideshows

Hi,

I could be missing something here but I have a few galleries that consistently seem to have problems displaying thumbnails and then when I hit the slideshow button those thumbs don’t show in the bar across the top and the slideshow skips them. There are other galleries that these thumbs sometimes work and sometimes don’t. I haven’t been able to see a method to the madness.

I have noticed that there seem to be some that it "never" seems to happen to.

Here is happens a lot. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Jeff! I just looked at the gallery and I'm getting 404's on some of the thumbs. All the images in that gallery seem to be Collected Images from other galleries. One of the thumbs I looked at that didn't show up for me was from a gallery that you have External Links turned off. Even though that should be fine, it may be what's causing this problem for you. I need to look deeper into this. But what you're seeing isn't correct. There does appear to be a bug.

I just started having problems with images displaying in a gallery in smugmug view, and the color effects tool not displaying different versions of the image. Possibly related?

glu, thanks for looking at it, i was starting to think i was crazy, i'll report it as a bug and see what that gets.

samir, not sure...havent used that feature...

Hey Jeff are you still seeing this happen with the Thumbs? I can no longer reproduce it.
