Took a few quick shots with the 70-200L f/4. Below is a 100% crop. Conclusion: I need more zoom!!! rolleyes1.gif (But it's still better than I've ever gotten before...icon10.gif )

    Shooting the moon
What shot parameters did you use? I have been messing around shooting the moon lately and have found that f/8, 1/125 and ISO 400 seem to be the sweet spot for my Bigma. Just curious what you used.

This was f/4, 1/320, ISO 100. 400 is usable on my DRebel but I didn't want to deal with cleaning up the noise.

I had about 5 minutes so I threw it on the tripod and snapped a few frames only varying the shutter speed. It may be sharper sharper at f/8; hopefully I'll have more time to play next time!
