My THIRD photo shoot since Friday -- whew!
As fussy as this princess was, she still managed to give me some amazing shots. I know the processings don't match but I didn't shoot the first one as overexposed as I would have liked, she picked up her head and I just clicked without exact metering, so I had to go for the high key look. And as far as the teacup is concerned, well, I just had to fade it out, I couldn't help it. Makes me wanna curl up with a Peter Rabbit book, but that's just me.

(And I promise Mom is just out of the shot, I don't dare trust a wobbly baby in a ceramic teacup on uneven dirt)

I couldn't get a smile out of her at all, getting her to look at me was hard enough! She's at the age of being curious, but not at the age of answering to her name just yet. Mom had one of her favorite toys outside with us, but the dog did NOT like us messing with her or putting her in the teacup, so she was too distracting by the barking to look at the toy.
I keep coming back to that first one, I'm just in love with it.

But
It is overshadowed by #1 which is awesome. Truly perfect. If I had anything to offer other than praise, I would. But I cant find a nit at all and that's my best compliment because I am in a funky mood today and if there was a problem I could see, I would have told you.
Again...awesome.

I thought the same thing about the second one, but it's one of the few of her looking at me in the teacup - her dogs were more intriguing to her than I was
I have other ones of her in the teacup, but this one just begged for the Beatrix Potter faded processing and I couldn't resist.
Seems like I'm falling victim to the "my favorite picture is always the one from the most recent session" idea.
