First images from my new Canon EOS 550D

Thanks to a stroke of luck in an in-house competition, I now have the 550D camera as my own!
So, hopefully, better to come than before, one would hope.
Anyway, three of my first attempts with the new camera, hope you like.
The obligatory Macro shot:
Testing the 55-250 lens out with the camera:
Testing the ISO at 3,200 (but this image has been edited using noise reduction and sharpening):
Once I get to grips with the camera more, things will I expect improve.

I like the image of the dog the best of the set. Nice composition and DOF, and of course an interesting dog moment. (Had you not mentioned the ISO you used, I would've never imagined it was that high.)
