First moments of a large red damselfly

Shot sequence of the first moments of emergence of a large red damselfly. You can just see that the bottom of the eyes in #1 are still caught in the nymph case. Other shots are +60secs and +90 secs later. All 5Dmk2/MPe-65 and focus stacked by hand

Wow! When I rented the MPe-65 a few years back, I had to use dead insects to get a crisp shot, and even those would pale in comparison to the what you've captured here...Hat's off to you! Great shots!
