Aphid overlooking the edge...

Got myself a nice new EOS 550D and gave it a run in the garden this evening. :clap



Here is an aphid, yes they are back with a vengeance in the garden...


This aphid is on the Lily of the Valley which are starting to flower nicely, and is on a short excursion across the precipice that is the tenuous edge of the leaf...


I have some others which are not as dynamic as this - I think the angles work, and the stark contrast in colours and the positioning of just the leading edge of the aphid all combine to give it a different look to what you normally get of the greenfly!
