    Darn it -- I'm on a crappy old laptop so I can't see the rust good. Gonna have to take a look at this when I get home.

    How did you get a flipside view?

    I have to wonder why they covered it over in the first place tho headscratch.gif. Seems it would have been better to leave it accessable in the first place.

    They rarely close them, I'm sure. Every hose has one. I think they happend to just pave these over on a patch over street job. They know where they all are by measurements and are moving them to off the street, which is why this one was revealed. Probably in preparation for a proper re pave.
