A Little Barb(ary)
I was fooling aroung with the "macro" setting on my G2 (not much of a macro, but it's all I got!) and photographing a few of my flowers and shrubs.
The annoying thing with a point and shoot is that it is near impossible to see what you are focusing on (if at all!). So I took a number of photos just to see what would happen. For those of you not familiar with this shrub, it comes is varying shades of red often with touchs of green, and of course, a whole lot of barbs. I live in a new house near the edge of a new subdivision, and we had a lot of rabbits over the winter. Guess which shrubs didn't get touched?!:D
This was simply a small crop of a much larger photo. The barbs on this remind me of a tiny bird of paradise, except this one has a bite!
