Is there a way to prevent someone from making copies of the CD/DVD's that you have given them of their images?

Thank you in advance!

I'm not aware of any protection available to mere mortals (without record company/etc resources) that will both let clients view/etc files and also prevent them from copying the files.

...although I'd be happy to be proven wrong... :)

    You're welcome. :)

...and because I'm never satisfied with *it just doesn't exist*...I decided to have a deeper look and see what I could find...

    Here are some additional links...

This might be useful and worth a look if the price is palatable, but at $300 it's an investment and it's Windows only as far as I can tell - http://www.cd-writer.com/cd_dvd_copy_protection.html

These all look like industry level tools - http://www.cd-writer.com/cd_dvd_copy_protection.html http://www.magellanhardware.com/cd-copy-protection.asp

Unfortunately the *how to crack* sites outnumber the *how to protect* sites by at least ten to one... Sad that the world has come to this... :(

So far the only other option I've found is to individually watermark each image...

What you can do about clients giving away images from CDs instead of sending people to you to buy copies/images...? I'm at a loss...unless you can somehow screen your client's moral compass...
