Most beautiful moth I've ever seen!

What is it??? These two (there were two stuck together at the abdomen) were doing the deed on my door this morning. Who are they? the details on these critters is amazing. Wonderful. Look at the crop of it's 'hair'. Looks like a gold retriever! They're pretty big too...maybe 4 to 5 inches across.
