    Hi Illiterati,
    I have to say, I really like this shot!
    I love the comp and colors.

    You captured the beautiful thick dark hair beautifully, and I especially love the added touch of the turquoise hair accesory.

    I do wish I could see a smidge more, but I do still like it very much.

    I want to find a decent macro lens that isn't going to make me hemmorhage what little money I have. I couldn't get the detail I was wanting on the turquoise and silver pin, which was frustrating in the extreme.

    I've discovered that the lenses that came with my D90 (from B&H) are gateway drugs, leading to a search for more and more expensive photographic highs.

    Sigh.
