This is a greenbottle, like a bluebottle only green... b162.gif

It's having a drinkie out of it's bubble of gunge...

Anyway, I didn't have the easiest of angles and I had to wedge the tripod at an awkward angle on the garden bench, then I had to stand on the bench to get my eye to the viewfinder. This meant that my weight was making the bench move with every little movement of my own, so I ramped up the ISO to 800 and stuck +½ stop EV on it to increase the shutter speed to make sure I got it as sharp as I could whilst keeping some DoF.

The sun was quite bright which helped a bit, but that meant the wall behind was saturated. It doesn't distract me much though, hopefully the vibrancy of the greenbottle will keep your eyes off the wall areas.

There has been no noise reduction applied to the image at all, so it hasn't done too badly for 800.

C&C as always.
