Took a trip down to Dayton a little while ago and just finished editing them. Decided to stick to closeups and generally B&W this time around. So how'd I do? Whole gallery is here. All taken w/ Canon 40D and 24-105mm f/4L.

B&W goes really nice with the dark atmosphere of the museum.

Outstanding photos. I'm into aviation photography, but my shots are more documentary style than artistic. I admire the creative way you've looked at the same thing and the results you've achieved.

Nice series--not your typical view of those aircraft! I esp. like #3 and #5. That SR-71 is so interesting when viewed from the front.

Thanks for all the positive commentary! I guess I'll keep chugging along these lines for a little while and see where it leads.

Concord, you've got some pretty spectacular shots yourself. I really dig some of those dark sky shots from Maryland. What are you slinging?
