How about some SX finals from Vegas!!!
Sorry I'm a little late posting these, but I was waiting to hear back from the #1 SX/MX magazine in the country. Now I can post them, minus two pictures. :barb
There's not alot of variety here because they gave us one little area on the track to shoot from by the whoops. Other than that, we could shoot from the first row in the stands. So, that's where most of these are from.

6,10,11,13,and 14 (cause it's Barcia and GEICO lights up awesome in this shot) are my fav's. Some of the others would be nice, but I'm not a fan of cut off bikes and clipping of body parts.
Good work
I finally got out for some MX racing this past weekend! Tried my flash too... But.. Thats a whole other thread!

Yea, it's always a blast and we go a few days early and take a little vacation there every year. We stayed at the Encore and I played golf at the Wynn golf course right there on the strip. It was the most well manicured golf course I've ever seen. It was just amazing and my round came with a caddy!!!! We also finished up $250 on gambling so that's always a plus.
Yea, the lighting at the Vegas SX isn't that great. There are dark areas for sure. I used to feel the same way you do about the clipping of bikes or body parts. A year ago those would have been deleted. However there's a trend in photography now, especially portrait, to not have everything looking so formal and perfect. So, I'm rolling with it.
I'm leaving Friday morning for Hangtown. That is going to be amazing. I hope I can make myself fall asleep Friday night so I'm not exhausted Saturday and running on adrenalin. I'm shooting Hangtown and Freestone for DC, so I'll have more chances to make it in X with some outdoor stuff.
