    Three or four might be the strongest of the set. Nice crop on both.

    You really need to watch your backgrounds--this is evident in the first two shots. A different shooting angle or maybe opening up and let the DOF help you.

    Yup, I wasn't paying attention to backgrounds. I was shooting shutter priority. I can't see my lcd during midday to check. You're right about #1, but I'm comfortable with #2.

    These were shot with a Nik 2X EIII TC on a 70/200. I'm very pleased with this TC (It also seems to remove vignetting on my VR1).
