Mississippi Kites

The numbers are much better this year than in the past, but I am still looking for a decent pic with good light. All are very early morning pics I took on my way to work except the first one that I took right after a storm had passed thus the high key background. The one in the juniper tree is about the closest I am coming to a nice picture with sharp eye contact.

15524779-Ti.gif Last one is the pick of the bunch. For some reason I almost always get high key backgrounds when shooting our local kites (which are also light coloured). I wouldn't mind seeing this on my way to work Stephen! thumb.gif

Very nice. I cant get near their west coast cousins. They are a tough shot. Need longer glass or more willpower and time to wait them out to show up at my stake out.

Good set Stephen. I'm a tad jealous because I haven't been able to capture one yet.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
