Out enjoying a beer this evening when I had this random thought for the new challenge.

Does this fly as a concept? :dunno
Are any of these half way suitable?
As always any & all c&c welcome.
And no I didn't drink all the beers today. :D

"Not looking forward to the hangover" or "Working on the hangover"

3 & 5 are deliberately slightly blurred to try and capture that worse for wear feeling.

TIA

    Hello there,
Ok, I like the concept/idea it has mass appeal, who hasn't been there?--hell I'm there right now rolleyes1.gif, I kid.

What I find distracting is having all the beer bottles and the scotch bottle there, I almost wish you went with one or the other. If you go with the beer than maybe have a beer bottle in hand instead of the scotch---and man, scotch straight up! You really were working on a hangover--at least add a little ice:)

Also something about the comp doesn't seem right. Maybe others will chime in...My take ok?

concept wise i would try a skotch glass with some ice standing on the bar with an arm holding it. Camera's viewpoint is behind and to the side of the elbow/bar height.

I'd like to see you play more with the blurring and other techniques to help convey the concept. There' good potential, but right now they're a little straight considering what you're trying to convey.

I like the idea, but it does need something...probably a different angle/location...but great thought!!

Sorry AndMan, for me personally, it doesn't speak to me. I'm not sure if its the down angle? I feel like I want more story from it, if that makes sense.

Thanks for the feedback Liz. I wasn't sure about the comp but couldn't put my finger on it.

As for ice in the scotch - I have some Scottish friends who would have you burnt at the stake as a heretic for even suggesting such a thing.:D

Thanks for the suggestion, if I get time I'll try for a re-shoot.
