Meet Checkers, our new beagle/Australian shepherd mix. He is quite the lover, and I couldn't resist taking a few shots. Let me know what you think!

Well it is the first time I have seen that mix. Makes quite a beautiful pup.

    awww so sweet :)
Love #2. Reminds me of the baby shots in the people forum. All it needs is a funny little hat :)

Adorable pup. I love how puppies can and will fall asleep ANYwhere. Number 2 is my favorite.

Thanks everyone! I keep looking at #2...thinking that I should not have cropped so much of the left side. I do think that it helps to bring out the focus on his face though. Any thoughts on that?

Not too shabby for a Walmart bed sheet and a beanbag chair though! Laughing.gif

It might be nice to have a little more on the left, but at least you didn't cut off any body parts like I sometimes do! Since the background on the edges is so dark, you might be able to enlarge the canvas and clone in an edge. Or just reshoot it and leave a little more. Either way, it's still a nice portrait!

Too too cute! What a great and unusual mix. I can see him herding the local rabbit population now. :D
